You can come back from anything. Unfortunately, we live in a culture where our primary focus has been on perfectionism and appearance. Amid all of our stress about doing everything right, we may have forgotten the grace and strength that comes from making mistakes. Maybe you have been struggling for so long, you have forgotten what picking yourself up looks like.
Failures, struggles, mistakes, etc. will always happen the way they are suppose to, never the way you want or thought they should happen. The comeback comes with letting go, forgiving others, taking accountability for your actions, and accepting that change will dissolve the old narrative of who you thought you should be.
Sometimes, it’s necessary and important to make mistakes, to fumble around, and to do something badly, so you learn how to do it better next time. No matter what you are doing or learning, you will have to start somewhere. Look back at the past and recognize that you would not be who you are or where you are at now without all of it.
All you can do is your best. Stop worrying about mistakes and accept that if you do fall, you will learn something new about yourself, about others, and about life. Love yourself enough to make mistakes, try again, learn new things, and to heal.
